IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered a management agreement with real-estate firm Mountain View to bring its boutique hotel brand, Hotel Indigo, to Egypt.
The company will launch four hotels, namely Hotel Indigo Mountain View North Coast, Hotel Indigo Mountain View icity New Cairo, Hotel Indigo Mountain View icity 6th of October City and Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ain El Sokhna.
The Hotel Indigo Mountain View North Coast is scheduled to open in July 2024 and will feature 100 rooms, 165m2 of meetings and events space, a spa, health club, and pool.
Located in the Fifth Settlement, the 200-room Hotel Indigo Mountain View icity New Cairo is slated to open in January 2026.
The 200-key Hotel Indigo Mountain View icity 6th of October City will have food and beverage (F&B), retail and entertainment options to offer locally inspired experiences to guests.
The Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ain El Sokhna will have 150 rooms and provide meetings and events spaces, and F&B options.

IHG launched the Hotel Indigo brand in 2004. Currently, Hotel Indigo has more than 120 hotels in over 20 countries across the globe with another 100 properties in the pipeline.
In November last year, Hotel Indigo brand made its debut in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
