IHG Hotels & Resort has opened Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins in Melbourne, Australia.
The hotel has 312 guest rooms with modern amenities including study nook, WiFi, walk-in power shower and others.
Other guest amenities include four flexible meeting rooms and complimentary EXPRESS Start breakfast.
Launched in partnership with hotel management platform Pro-Invest Hotels, the property is located in proximity with Melbourne’s shopping, dining and cultural destinations.
Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins is on course to secure Green Engage Level 1 Certification Partner status and aims for at least 4.5-star NABERS Energy & Water rating in the first 12 months of operation.
The hotel also implemented Zip Taps to eliminate single use plastics.

Holiday Inn Express, a mid-price hotel chain, has more than 3,000 properties across the globe.
In November last year, the brand expanded presence in Europe with the opening of Holiday Inn Express Dusseldorf – Hauptbahnhof in Germany.
In a separate development, IHG expanded its Hotel Indigo brand, with the opening of Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Garden.
Located in the Urakuen Garden, the property marks the brand’s third property in Japan.
The 156-room hotel features signature restaurant Indigo Home Kitchen Yamateras, BAR Yoyama and Inuyama Onsen Hakutei no Yu, claimed to be the region’s only traditional onsen (hot spring).
