IHG Hotels & Resorts has provided an update on the continued growth of its Holiday Inn Brand Family across Europe.
The hospitality firm has announced new signings and openings of Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts and Holiday Inn Express at key airport locations in the continent.
The signings and openings support IHG’s long-term expansion goal into several European cities.

By GlobalDataRecently, IHG unveiled Holiday Inn Express Nice – Grand Arenas in France in partnership with HPVA and the 421-room Holiday Inn Dublin Airport in the Irish capital in partnership with owner group JMK.
In Turkey, IHG has collaborated with Asal Grup Otomotiv İnşaat Ticaret to open the 122-room Holiday Inn Express Ankara Airport next year.
The company has also signed a partnership with Bartila for Holiday Inn Express Madrid Airport in Spain.
Slated to open by the end of 2023, the 156-room hotel will have a restaurant and bar, and an outdoor pool.
Additionally, IHG will open the 146-room Holiday Inn Express Seville Airport in partnership with Cayman Group in 2023.
In the same year, the 224-room Holiday Inn Express Rome – Airport will open its door. It will be launched as part of a franchise agreement with Caltagirone Group and Borealis Hotel Group.
