IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with GPKP for Holiday Inn Prayagraj in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The new hotel will feature 95 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a meeting room and a fitness centre.
Scheduled to open in 2025 in Prayagraj, the development is part of IHG’s strategy to broaden its presence in India’s key secondary markets.
It will become the latest addition to IHG’s Holiday Inn portfolio, which includes 57 hotels in the South West Asia, Middle East, and Africa region.
GPKP managing directors Dr Ketan Srivastava and Ankit Raj Srivastava said: “We are thrilled to partner with an internationally and locally trusted hospitality brand like IHG Hotels & Resorts to launch Holiday Inn Prayagraj. With our local insights, combined with IHG’s global expertise, I am confident the hotel will be a huge success.”
