
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the continued growth of its Hotel Indigo brand in Thailand with a new agreement with the Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited.
The 274-room Hotel Indigo The Forestias Bangkok will open in 2026 in The Forestias, a 64-hectare mixed-use development on the eastern outskirts of Bangkok. This project is the largest of its kind in the country and promises to be a benchmark for sustainable, integrated living.
Hotel Indigo The Forestias Bangkok will offer guests a unique opportunity to experience the rich forest ecosystem surrounding the development. The hotel’s design will draw inspiration from the local environment, creating a blend of nature, wildlife and modern amenities.
The hotel offer convenient access to residential areas, office spaces, retail outlets, restaurants, family entertainment options, meeting spaces and a hospital.
Another IHG development, Six Senses The Forestias, will be located nearby. The 85-room hotel and 27 residences will sit beside a five-hectare forest park.
Located at Bangna Km.7, the hotel is just 15 minutes from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 20 minutes from Bangkok city centre via high-speed rail link.
Guests can expect facilities including a cafe, lounge, pool bar, gym, swimming pool, and 6,500m² of meeting space.
With more than 150 hotels globally and more than 130 in the development pipeline, Hotel Indigo captures the essence of local neighbourhoods while offering guests a unique and upscale experience.
Hotel Indigo The Forestias Bangkok joins three other upcoming Hotel Indigo properties in Thailand – Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road, Hotel Indigo Phuket Patong and a third in Koh Samui.
Thailand remains a key market for IHG, with 39 existing hotels across nine brands and another 37 properties under development.
