IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Samplast Resorts for the development of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jalandhar GT Road in the Indian state of Punjab.
The 110-room hotel, which is strategically located on the Grand Trunk Road, is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2024.
It will further strengthen the Holiday Inn brand’s presence in the country and the state.
The new-build Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jalandhar GT Road will be a short drive from the city’s central business district in addition to shopping destinations.
A strip mall that will adjoin the hotel will offer multiple dining options for guests.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jalandhar GT Road will feature modern guest rooms and facilities, ‘Great Room’, a bar and a lounge.

At present, IHG has 42 hotels operating across five brands, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn , Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express, in SWA.
Another 51 hotels are expected to open in the next two to three years.
