IHG Hotels & Resorts has broken ground on its new property, InterContinental Grenada Resort.
The hotel will comprise 150 rooms and 30 private suites, in addition to spa and pool, on-site fitness centre and numbers of restaurant and bar destinations.
Expected to open in 2025, the property will also feature a conference centre, over 6,000ft2 of meeting space and on-site business centre.

IHG is collaborating with exterior designer Simeon Halsted and Associates, interior designer Bleu Design, and developer Range Developments for the new property.

IHG operates a network of 43 InterContinental Hotels & Resorts across the Americas, and a further nine properties in the regional pipeline.
Last month, the hospitality company unveiled plans to launch InterContinental Resort Crete in Greece in spring next year.
