IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered a management deal with Almuhaysin Group to debut its Regent Hotels & Resorts brand in the Middle East.

The Regent-branded hotel is expected to open mid-next year in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

It will join the existing Regent brand properties in destinations such as Hong Kong, Bali and Santa Monica.

To be located on the Jeddah Corniche, facing the Formula 1 racetrack, the new property will feature approximately 182 rooms facing the Red Sea, along with five penthouses.

It will also boast a 1,500m² spa, three concept eateries, a 200m² health club, a lounge and indoor and outdoor pools.

IHG Hotels & Resorts India, Middle East and Africa managing director Haitham Mattar said: “Saudi Arabia is a priority market for IHG in the Middle East and the continual expansion of our global portfolio in the Kingdom demonstrates our commitment to Vision 2030.
