
IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered a management agreement with Haware Engineers & Builders to introduce its Holiday Inn Express & Suites brand in Pen, Maharashtra, India.
Expected to commence operations in the first quarter of 2028, the hotel will add 126 rooms to IHG’s portfolio in the state.

IHG’s Holiday Inn Express portfolio has more than 3,200 hotels worldwide.
The upcoming property in Pen, an industrial hub within the Raigad district, is poised to cater to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), offering amenities such as a dining venue, banquet, meeting spaces, and a fitness centre.
The hotel is designed for business travellers.

IHG’s current Indian portfolio includes 47 hotels across six brands, with a pipeline of 60 hotels slated to launch in the next three to five years.
This expansion includes the upcoming introduction of a new Holiday Inn Resort in Maharashtra, following a management agreement signed with XECO Media in December 2023.
The property is expected to open in Karjat in 2027.
