IHG Hotels & Resorts and its strategic partner Sun Hospitality Group have signed a deal for four more hotels with a total of 2,709 rooms in Vietnam.
The deal includes 616-room Holiday Inn Resort Yoko Park Onsen located in Quang Ninh Province.

By GlobalDataThey will also build 602-room Crowne Plaza Danang Ba Na Hills, 843-room Holiday Inn Resort Danang Ba Na Hills and 648-room voco Danang Ba Na Hills, as part of the ongoing development of Ba Na Hills in Danang.
These properties are slated to open in 2026.
With this agreement, IHG will have three properties across its Holiday Inn and InterContinental brands in Quang Ninh province and seven hotels in Danang.
IHG South East Asia and Korea, Development, vice-president Serena Lim said: “This marquee portfolio deal is aligned with our plan to grow our estate in Vietnam across all brands. As we work through the recovery, we know that domestic leisure business will be a strong driver of growth in the country. We’re looking to develop a range of destination resort and family-friendly destinations across Vietnam.

In Vietnam, IHG currently operates 14 hotels across four brands while 15 properties are in pipeline.
Recently, the company partnered with property development firm Siam Sindhorn to open Sindhorn Midtown, the first Vignette Collection hotel in Asia.
