IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered a franchise agreement with Mogotel and Revelop for a voco-branded property in Kista, Sweden.
Scheduled to open in late 2024, voco Stockholm Kista will mark the company’s return to the Swedish market.
Revelop CEO Thomas Sipos said: “With the voco hotel, in partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts and Mogotel, we are delighted to be able to bring a new kind of guest experience to Stockholm Kista. With its sustainable profile we see the voco concept as a strong addition to Nordic Forum and a perfect match with our Revelop values.
“With IHG’s scale, experience, and proven reputation in the industry, alongside the voco hotels brand’s high popularity with guests, we have no doubt that voco Stockholm Kista will become one of the most sought-after destinations in Northern Stockholm.”
The hotel will feature 201 rooms, a restaurant, a lobby bar, five personalised meeting and event spaces, a fitness room, and a rooftop spa with an indoor swimming pool.
It will also have a rooftop garden with views of northern Stockholm.
