IHG Hotels & Resorts has commenced construction of a dual-branded EVEN Hotels and Staybridge Suites property in Orlando, Florida, in partnership with owner Daiwa House Group.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks a milestone in the ongoing partnership between IHG and Daiwa House Group, aiming to expand the latter’s US portfolio.
Slated to open in 2026, the EVEN Hotels and Staybridge Suites property is a collaborative effort with AC Hotel Developers and architect Baskervill.
Daiwa House group director and senior managing executive officer Keisuke Shimonishi said: “As one of the most visited tourist destinations in the US and a market rich in development and investment, we cannot think of a better location than Orlando to extend our working relationship with IHG and introduce an exciting new dual-branded property.”
The dual-branded hotel will offer a total of 288 guest rooms, combining the upscale residential-style studios and suites of Staybridge Suites with the signature sleep experience and wellness-supporting amenities of EVEN Hotels.
It will feature more than 4,000ft² of meeting space, public areas and lobbies, an outdoor pool, EVEN athletic studio, and more.
