The Imperial Hotel New Delhi in India has contracted Hybon Elevators and Escalators for the installation of customised gearless elevators.

This move aims to improve the hotel’s capacity and guest services.

Hybon’s gearless machine technology ensures that the elevators operate with seamless acceleration and deceleration, moving at a speed of 1.5m per second.

This is claimed to offer a comfortable ride with reduced jerk.

The design of the elevators has been tailored to match the interior decor of the hotel.

These elevators are built to service four floors, with plans to install more in the future.
