ITC Hotels, a hospitality chain in India, has reached a significant milestone, announcing its 25th Welcomhotel property in Belagavi in the state of Karnataka.

The Welcomhotel Belagavi property provides guests with picturesque views of hills and greenery, with its launch reflecting the ability of the brand to adapt to diverse demands of the market.

The hotel spans over five acres of area and is located conveniently near the airport. With 116 spacious rooms featuring balconies that showcase the landscape, it blends local aesthetics with modern amenities.

Welcomhotel Belagavi’s facilities cater to a diverse clientele, including leisure and meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) travellers.

It has nine versatile venues such as grand ballrooms, an open sky deck, a conference room, and expansive lawns.

Dining options at the hotel include an all-day dining restaurant offering a mix of global and local cuisine, an outlet providing freshly baked goods, and a bar serving cocktails and snacks.

ITC Hotels chief executive Anil Chadha said: “Present in locations ranging from hills to beaches, and deserts to cities, the opening and signing of more properties under the brand Welcomhotel is aligned with ITC Hotels’ asset right growth strategy to take our brand and services to tier two markets in addition to prime metro cities.”

Over the past five years, Brand Welcomhotel has added seven managed hotels and three owned properties, contributing 916 keys to its portfolio.

In the last fiscal year, Welcomhotel signed four new management deals, adding 406 keys to its pipeline, with openings planned over the next four to five years.

In March this year, ITC Hotels revealed plans to foray into international markets and focus on expansion in southern India, reported The Times of India
