Jumeirah, a luxury hospitality company and part of Dubai Holding, has appointed Thomas B Meier as its new chief executive officer.
Meier will spearhead Jumeirah’s plans to double its portfolio by 2030, aiming to expand globally and reinforce its luxury hospitality leadership.
He will lead Jumeirah’s Mission 2030 strategy, focusing on setting new industry standards and delivering guest experiences that emphasise culture and connection.
His tenure as chief operating officer since October 2021 and interim CEO has seen significant milestones, including strengthening of the leadership team.
Last year, he successfully oversaw the brand’s expansion into Africa with the launch of properties such as Jumeirah Thanda Island and Jumeirah Thanda Safari respectively in Tanzania and South Africa.
His career includes pivotal roles in operations and global expansion with notable brands such as Raffles.

The brand now operates 30 properties across multiple continents and is actively seeking opportunities in key cities and resort destinations.
