Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Dobrov & Family Group, has announced plans to construct the Porta Rai hotel-residential complex in Ulcinj, Montenegro.

Construction is expected to begin in November this year, with the project value estimated at €160m ($173.15m).

Dobrov & Family Group Montenegro director Dragan Lučić was quoted by Vijesti Online as saying: “Our goal is to ensure the start of construction in November, and the plan is to realise the entire project in a period of three to four years.

“We believe that with this project, we will enrich the tourist offer in the region, and provide everyone who wants it with a new address of luxury on the most beautiful beach of the Adriatic coast.”

The five-star Porta Rai hotel and residential complex will be situated on Velika Beach and feature an array of accommodations, restaurants and bars.

Among other amenities to be provided at the complex include seven swimming pools, and sports facilities including paddle, tennis, and basketball courts, as well as mini-golf.
