Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, a part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has announced a partnership with JMA Ventures and Machete Group for developing the brand’s first property in Orlando, Florida, US.
The new hotel, to be situated adjacent to the Kia Center arena, will be a part of Westcourt’s mixed-use sports and entertainment development in downtown Orlando.
The 11-storey Kimpton hotel will feature 261 rooms and more than 16,000ft² of indoor meeting space.
Guests will also have access to a full-service restaurant, lobby bar, cafe, and pool bar with a lounge area.
The new Kimpton Orlando is scheduled to open in early 2027.

The Westcourt development will also include luxury multifamily rental units, office space, retail offerings, a 3,500-capacity live event venue, meeting spaces, and a 1,140-space parking garage.
Guests at the new hotel will have access to Westcourt’s 1.5 acres of outdoor common areas.
Kimpton Orlando will be the seventh Kimpton hotel in Florida, reflecting IHG’s growth in the luxury and lifestyle hotel sector.
The company’s portfolio has expanded significantly, with nearly 900 hotels open or in the pipeline worldwide.
Last month, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants expanded its European footprint with the debut of Kimpton BEM Budapest.
