KS Hotels and HMD Asia have acquired La Résidence hotels in Luang Prabang, Laos; and Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.
Previously owned and managed by Belmond, both properties will transition to new management.
Situated on a hilltop in the UNESCO Heritage region of Luang Prabang, La Résidence Phou Vao will continue its operations under HMD Asia.
The hotel features 34 suites, a Mekong Spa, and a three-acre garden filled with flowers, exotic plants, and water features.
Meanwhile, La Résidence D’Angkor is currently undergoing renovations. It is set to reopen in the fourth quarter of 2025 under HMD Asia’s management.
