Greek hospitality company Lampsa Hellenic Hotels has collaborated with Accor Group’s luxury brand Emblems Collection to manage the transformation of the Elatos Resort on Mount Parnassus.

Following the conversion, the resort will be renamed Elatos Resort, Emblems Collection.

The transformation will be carried out through an investment of more than €30m ($31.04m) to modernise and upgrade the property to become a ‘premier year-round mountain destination’.

This resort spans 190 acres and will feature chalet-style accommodations, hotel rooms, and an advanced spa.

LAMPSA Hellenic Hotels board of directors president Chloe Laskaridis said: “This agreement with Accor and the Emblems Collection is a historic moment for our company.

“Through this strategic partnership, our goal is to position Elatos Resort, Emblems Collection as a world-class destination, offering exceptional, high-quality experiences to our guests, while also boosting winter tourism in Greece.”

Lampsa currently owns and operates several luxury hotels, including the Hotel Grande Bretagne, King George Hotel, and Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection in Athens, as well as the Hyatt Regency and Mercure Excelsior Hotel in Belgrade.

Ranging from heritage mansions to modern retreats, the first Emblems Collection properties are expected to launch in Europe this year, with the aim of establishing 60 locations worldwide by 2032.

Last month, Accor and its partner DOJI Group, a multi-sector corporation in Vietnam, announced plans to introduce the Sofitel Diamond Crown Hai Phong, a new luxury hotel in Vietnam, next year.

This property will be part of the Diamond Crown Hai Phong complex, featuring a 45-storey tower.
