Hospitality company Lemon Tree Hotels has revealed its latest venture in Shirdi, Maharashtra, India.

The property is scheduled to commence operations in the financial year 2028 and will be managed by Lemon Tree Hotels’ wholly owned subsidiary Carnation Hotels.

The upcoming hotel is said to be strategically located, with proximity to Shirdi International Airport, approximately 14.8km away, and Sainagar Shirdi Railway Station, situated 3km from the hotel.

The hotel’s location is said to offer easy road access, making it simple for guests to travel by both public and private transport.

Designed to cater to a variety of guests, Lemon Tree Hotel, Shirdi, will feature 50 guest rooms.

The amenities planned for the property include a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool, a spa, and other public areas.

These facilities are expected to meet the needs of both leisure and business travellers visiting Shirdi.

Lemon Tree Hotels managed and franchise business CEO Vilas Pawar said: “We are delighted to expand our portfolio in Maharashtra, one of India’s largest commercial and industrial hubs.

“By expanding in the state, we are not only tapping into a thriving economic hub but also embracing a place that beautifully balances modernity with tradition.

“This new addition will complement our 12 existing hotels and six upcoming properties in Maharashtra.”

The company operates a portfolio of more than 200 hotels, with over 110 currently in operation and an additional 90 hotels planned for launch, both in India and abroad.

Last September, Lemon Tree Hotels signed a new property in Nashik, Maharashtra. Set to open in the 2026 financial year, the new hotel will also be operated by Carnation Hotels.

The property will feature 57 rooms, alongside a range of facilities such as a restaurant, bar, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, and spa.
