Indian hospitality group Lemon Tree Hotels is expanding its footprint with a new property in Bapane Village, Vasai Municipality, part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The upcoming hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, and is scheduled to open in the financial year 2026.
The new Lemon Tree Hotel in Bapane, India will feature 76 well-appointed rooms and offer amenities such as a restaurant, meeting room, swimming pool, spa, and other public areas.
Located within the industrial hub of Vasai, the hotel aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers.
Its location offers easy access to Mumbai International Airport, approximately 43km away, and Mumbai Borivali Railway Station, about 28.8km from the hotel.

This announcement comes on the heels of another recent agreement to open a Lemon Tree Hotel in Bhuj, Gujarat, also managed by Carnation Hotels and expected to launch in FY 2026.
Earlier in September, Lemon Tree Hotel signed another hotel at Gir in the state of Gujarat.
Lemon Tree Hotels has shown significant growth since its inception in May 2004 with its first 49-room hotel.
The company now has a portfolio exceeding 210 hotels, including over 110 operational properties and more than 90 upcoming hotels across India and internationally.
Lemon Tree’s presence spans major metro regions like NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai as well as tier I, II and III cities such as Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and more.
The brand has also marked its international presence with openings in Dubai (December 2019), Bhutan (February 2020), and Nepal (April 2024).
In terms of financial performance, Lemon Tree Hotels reported a consolidated net profit surge of 31% to Rs296.4m ($3.7m) on a robust 25% increase in net sales to Rs2.84bn ($35.5m) in Q2 FY25 over the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
