Lemon Tree Hotels has opened Peninsula Suites, its sixth property in the city of Bengaluru, India, under the Lemon Tree brand, as reported by MoneyControl.com.

Located in the state of Karnataka, the hotel is managed by Lemon Tree Hotels’ subsidiary and management arm, Carnation Hotels.

The property features 101 rooms, along with suites that offer a separate living space, a kitchenette and a balcony.

It also offers select rooms where pets are allowed, as well as pre-packaged meal options for pets.

The hotel features Citrus Café, its multi-cuisine coffee shop; Citrus Patio, a pet-friendly al fresco dining space and a bar called Slounge

Amenities provided at the property include meeting rooms, a fitness facility and a garden.

The hotel targets business travellers, leisure travellers and city dwellers.

Guests at the property can enjoy popular nearby attractions such as Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Cubbon Park, Iskcon Temple, Bengaluru Palace and Vidhana Soudha, among others.

It is situated near Information Technology Park Limited Whitefield and is close to KR Puram railway station.

Lemon Tree Hotels is a hotel chain that operates in the upscale as well as mid-market segments.

It debuted in May 2004 with a 49-room hotel and now runs roughly 8,600 rooms across 92 hotels in 58 locations, both in India and abroad, under diverse brands.

Last week, the hotel company signed a licence agreement for two properties in Nepal and in the Indian state of Gujarat under its Lemon Tree Resort and Lemon Tree Hotel brands.

Additionally, earlier this month, Lemon Tree Hotels announced the opening of a property in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and another in the state of Uttarakhand, while last month, the hotel chain signed two properties in Himachal Pradesh and Odisha.
