Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of the five-star Hotel Gotham in Manchester, UK, for an undisclosed sum.

This purchase was facilitated by the Fattal Partnership Fund.

The property, which opened its doors under Bespoke Hotels in 2015, will become a part of the Leonardo Limited Edition collection.

It will join Leonardo Hotels’ existing brands such as The Grand, The Dilly, and The Midland Hotel.

A change in the hotel’s branding is anticipated, with the Hotel Gotham name to be used for a ‘limited period as per the licence’.

However, a new name for the property has yet to be announced.
