Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced plans to open a new luxury resort and branded residences on Bali’s Bukit peninsula, Indonesia.
Scheduled for 2027, the development is a collaboration with real estate developer Harmoni Bali.
Mandarin Oriental, Bali will feature 110 suites and villas, each designed to integrate with the natural environment, offering private terraces or gardens, and most with private pools.
The property will boast unique dining experiences, including a cliff-edge restaurant and bar, a Chinese speciality restaurant, a bar, a spa and a beach club.
Design Lab architects and Jeffrey Wilkes are responsible for the architecture and interiors while landscaping has been handled by Bill Bensley.
The resort will also feature wellness facilities, including heat and water therapies, outdoor swimming pools, private cabanas, and a fitness centre with outdoor spaces for yoga.

The hotel is a 30-minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport and is close to tourist destinations such as Jimbaran, Uluwatu, and Sanur.
It is also adjacent to the Bukit Pandawa Golf Course and near the Bali National Golf Club.

The branded residences within the resort will include 68 private villas, offering three to six bedrooms and set on an 8ha site above the hotel.
In addition to the resort’s facilities, residents will have access to exclusive clubhouse amenities, including lounge facilities, co-working space, function areas, and a private gym and swimming pool.
Last month, Mandarin Oriental reached the significant milestone of 40 operational hotels worldwide following the opening of two properties in Mayfair, London; and Muscat, Oman.
