MGM Resorts International and Marriott International have revealed a strategic collaboration to bring the W Hotels brand to Las Vegas, US.
The conversion and rebranding of the iconic property on the Las Vegas Strip property is expected to be completed later this year.
The strategic licensing agreement between the two companies, first announced in July 2023, encompasses 17 MGM resorts, featuring over 40,000 rooms across Las Vegas and other US regions.
The MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, officially launched in March 2024, has exceeded expectations, with hundreds of thousands of room nights already booked.
This collaboration has opened doors for more than 200 million Marriott Bonvoy members, who can now enjoy benefits and redeem points at MGM Resorts destinations.
Simultaneously, MGM Rewards members have the opportunity to status match and receive benefits at Marriott’s global portfolio, which includes approximately 9,000 properties.

With the inclusion of W Las Vegas, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy will feature 12 destinations on the Las Vegas Strip.
This includes the Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino, Autograph Collection, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection, and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MGM Collection, among others.
