Hospitality firm Marriott International has announced the expansion of its branded residential portfolio across the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, which the company claims is a key driver in its accelerated growth.
The company’s portfolio now features 70 projects, with 43 in the pipeline and 27 already open.
In the past two years, Marriott has more than doubled its agreements for branded residences in the EMEA region, with 26 new signings.
The properties range from resort destinations such as The St Regis Residences in Costa del Sol to urban hotspots such as the W Residences in Dubai Harbour, catering to diverse buyer preferences.
Marriott International Global Mixed-Use Development chief development officer Dana Jacobsohn said: “As Marriott continues to meet the increasing global demand for branded residences and world-class luxury experiences, the EMEA region, home to some of the world’s most coveted and iconic destinations, has been a key driver of our accelerated growth.
“Through providing extraordinary benefits for both developers and residence owners, we continue to strengthen our industry-leading position in the segment, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work the company is doing to bring such extraordinary residential projects to life.”
