Egyptian real estate developer SODIC and hospitality giant Marriott International have announced a partnership to introduce the Tribute Portfolio brand to Egypt.
Two new hotels under the Tribute Portfolio flag will be built, one in West Cairo and another on the North Coast.

Tribute Portfolio is a collection of independent hotels known for their unique design and lively atmosphere.
The addition of the two hotels expands Marriott’s presence in Egypt, bringing its portfolio to 18 properties with more than 7,000 rooms.
The first Tribute Portfolio Hotel will open in 2027 within SODIC’s flagship mixed-use development, SODIC West, in West Cairo.
The 170-room hotel, including 48 suites, will be situated near the newly opened Sphinx Airport and a short distance from the Grand Egyptian Museum and Giza Pyramids.

By GlobalDataThe second Tribute Portfolio Hotel is set to open in 2029 at SODIC’s Miami-inspired beachfront development in the Ras Al Hekma area, called June.
It will feature 180 guest rooms and a range of dining and leisure facilities. The surrounding development offers residents and visitors access to a beach, a boardwalk, a beach club, residential villas and serviced apartments.
Ayman Amer, SODIC’s general manager, said in a statement.“We are very excited to be collaborating with Marriott International on these two upcoming hotel developments. This comes as a testament to SODIC’s commitment to joining forces with renowned global industry experts that create further value for our developments.
“The Tribute Portfolio brand gives SODIC the opportunity to create hospitality offerings that truly reflect the developments’ ethos.”
