Marriott International has signed an agreement with Sands China to launch the first Luxury Collection brand hotel in Macau, a special administrative region (SAR) of China.

Londoner Grand, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Macao is slated to open in January next year.

Located in Macao’s Cotai Strip, the hotel will offer 2,405 rooms and suites.

The hotel boasts five dining concepts, including a dim sum restaurant and tearoom, a confectionery store, and a British pub bar. It will also house two signature Chinese restaurants.

The property is situated 4.9km from Macau International Airport and 6.2km from Taipa Ferry Terminal.

Guests will also have easy access to major cultural sites such as Senado Square, Taipa Houses, and the Ruins of St Paul’s.

Earlier this month, Marriott International signed a multi-deal agreement with PT Pakuwon Jati to develop five more hotels in Indonesia.
