Marriott International has signed an agreement with Al Ali Property Investments (API) to introduce the Moxy Hotels brand to Dubai’s Al Barsha neighbourhood in mid-2025.
Under this agreement, the existing establishment is set to undergo a rebranding and refurbishment before its launch as Moxy Al Barsha Dubai.

Marriott International Middle East lodging development regional vice-president Chadi Hauch said: “The Moxy Al Barsha Dubai will serve as a playful lifestyle hotel bringing a spirited experience to Dubai’s vibrant hospitality landscape.
“Dubai remains an important growth market for the company and we continue to see a strong demand for hospitality experiences in the market that are as stylish as they are affordable. This milestone signing also highlights the increased opportunities for conversions across the region, and we are excited to strengthen our relationship with API with this project.”
This opening will herald the debut of the Moxy brand in the UAE, celebrated for its industrial aesthetic and communal areas.
Moxy Al Barsha Dubai is anticipated to offer smart guestrooms, locally influenced programming, and communal areas designed for socialising and productivity.
