Marriott International has announced the opening of the dual-branded AC Hotel Austin and The Otis Hotel, an Autograph Collection hotel, in Austin, Texas.
Developed by hotel management and development firm White Lodging, the dual-branded hotel will open in Q4 of 2019.

To be situated at 1901 San Antonio Street in Austin, near University of Texas, the two hotels will bring 347 rooms – 191 rooms by The Otis Hotel, and 156 rooms by two suites at AC Hotel Austin, to the city.
White Lodging president and CEO of investments and development Deno Yiankes said: “We remain bullish on Austin as it remains one of the most sought after destinations in the United States and thrilled to be developing these two unique hotels adjacent to the world-class University of Texas and steps from downtown Austin.”
Part of Autograph Collection’s portfolio of independent hotels, The Otis Hotel will provide its guests access to the 4,000ft2 rooftop deck, an outdoor pool, cabanas, a bar, and expansive terrace. It will also provide a full-service restaurant and bar on the first level and feature 29 suites.
AC Hotel Austin will provide guests its European-inspired breakfast concept at AC Kitchen and signature cocktails and tapas at AC Lounge, which is a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, in addition to shared access to the restaurant at The Otis Hotel.
Currently, White Lodging is also constructing the new 613-room Marriott in downtown Austin, near the Austin Convention Center.
This full service Marriott Hotel property, which is located at the Northwest corner of Cesar Chavez and Trinity Streets, will open in 2020.
