Columbia Sussex has completed the renovation of Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes in Arizona, US, to enhance the guest experience.
The multi-million dollar renovation included enhancing its guest rooms and suites, fitness centre, and expanding outdoor meeting spaces.
The resort now features 353 newly renovated guestrooms and suites, including seven studio rooms, a presidential suite, and a chairman suite.
The renovations encompass furniture, lighting, furnishings, bathrooms, soft goods, wall coverings, artwork, entertainment options, and technological enhancements. The contemporary design reflects the Marriott brand’s modern aesthetic while paying homage to the desert surroundings.
Natural surfaces and materials have been added to each room, creating a warm and tranquil atmosphere. The use of weathered, rustic wire-brushed oak, twisted basket raffias, and modern metals emphasises simplistic textures with an artisan feel.
The ambient lighting, electronic connectivity, and functional workspace areas have been added to the redesigned guestrooms to ensure comfort and relaxation for guests.
