Hotel owner-operator MCR has purchased Canopy by Hilton Charlotte Southpark in the US state of North Carolina.
The hotel, which was bought at a 20% discount to the company’s estimated replacement cost, is MCR’s sixth hotel in North Carolina and its first Canopy by Hilton hotel.
Situated in the suburban Southpark area of Charlotte, the five-storey hotel was built in 2020 and offers 150 pet-friendly guestrooms and suites.
It features a full-service restaurant and bar, a coffee shop and a grab-and-go market that offers a selection of snacks and beverages.
It also provides a meeting space of 9,000ft², fast Wi-Fi and a fitness facility.
Guests at the hotel can visit nearby leisure spots, including Southpark Mall, which is less than a mile away from the hotel.
