Mercure, Accor’s locally-inspired brand, has announced its debut in Oman through the initial launch of Mercure Muscat.
The hotel is designed to offer guests an authentic Omani experience, combining local exploration with the brand’s signature hospitality.
Situated just 15 minutes from Muscat International Airport, Mercure Muscat is poised to serve both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel features 186 rooms and suites, and features panoramic views of the city, mountains, and sea.
Guests at Mercure Muscat can indulge in a variety of facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool on the seventh floor with a Jacuzzi, a health club, and a spa offering bespoke treatments.
The hotel also caters to business and special events with its versatile meeting spaces, including a large, pillarless ballroom with private access. Additional meeting rooms for smaller gatherings accommodate up to 450 guests.

The hotel’s culinary offerings are rooted in Omani culture, with the ‘Discover Local’ programme providing a diverse menu that combines regional specialties and international favourites. These are all crafted from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
Dining options include The Valley, an all-day dining restaurant, M Café and Yum Yum, a specialty Asian Fusion restaurant.

Owned by Castle Tourism Hotel Management, Mercure Muscat is the first hotel of its brand in Oman’s capital.
