Minor Hotels has announced plans to foray into Paris, France, with the addition of three four-star hotels in the first quarter of next year.
The company will unveil three NH Hotels, one of which will undergo a renovation and rebrand as an NH Collection property in 2025.
Swiss Life Asset Managers France has selected Minor Hotels to manage the three hotels.
The 207-room NH Paris Gare de l’Est and the 103-room NH Opéra Paris Faubourg will mark Minor Hotel’s debut in the city.
Meanwhile, the third property, featuring 90 rooms, will initially open as NH Paris Champs-Elysées and then be rebranded as NH Collection in 2025 after undergoing renovation.
Minor Hotels CEO and Minor International group CEO Dillip Rajakarier said: “Our team has been searching for the right opportunities in this key market for some time, so we are pleased to announce that, together with Swiss Life AM, Minor Hotels will arrive in Paris not with one but with three hotels.

Swiss Life Asset Managers France head of hospitality Johanna Capoani said: “We are very pleased at Swiss Life Asset Managers France to develop our hospitality offering with a management agreement with the well-known international hospitality group Minor Hotels and supporting their entry into Paris, a major tourism power.
“We believe that our synergies will create a new offer under the NH Hotels and NH Collection brands and added value to our customers.”
The three hotels will undergo renovations and provide 400 guest rooms, along with restaurants and bars serving local cuisine.
Additionally, these hotels will offer guests access to nearby spots such as the Louvre and Champs-Elysées, as well as locations for dining, shopping and sightseeing.
Currently, Minor Hotels manages six properties in France, located in Lyon, Toulouse, Marseille and Nice.
Recent additions to the NH brand’s portfolio include NH Collection Dubai The Palm in the UAE, which marked the brand’s entry into the Middle East.
Additionally, NH Hotels has expanded its presence in Italy, Portugal and Thailand this year.
The list of future openings comprises the NH Collection Chiang Mai in Thailand, the NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa in Finland and the NH Collection Luang Prabang in Laos.
