The Monterey Beach Hotel, part of the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, in California, US, has reopened following refurbishment and rebranding.
Situated on the Monterey Peninsula, the hotel offers 192 guest rooms, including four suites, and now features a refreshed design and upgraded facilities.
The design transformation was led by Los Angeles-based company Indidesign while the project was managed by LUCID, Highgate’s in-house Design & Construction Studio.
The hotel’s culinary offerings have also been reimagined, with three new venues named the Lobby Lounge, The Lantern Room, and Tidewater, each providing central California coast flavours.
Relaunched by Ascendant Capital Partners, Highgate, and Centerbridge Partners, the property provides coastline views.
It offers a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as Scandinavian-inspired contrast therapy with barrel saunas and ice baths, which are set to debut this fall.
