Marriott Bonvoy’s Moxy Hotels brand has expanded its global footprint by opening Moxy Chongqing, its first property in Chongqing, China.

The new hotel boasts 360 guest rooms with peg walls, 55in flat-screen TVs, walk-in showers, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, among others.

The hotel’s interior design pays homage to the city’s architectural blend of modern skyscrapers and traditional stilted houses.

Situated on the 29th floor, Moxy Bar serves as an interactive communal space where guests can check in and receive a complimentary “Got Moxy” cocktail.

This opening follows Marriott International‘s recent announcement of a partnership with Reliance Ventures to launch a Moxy hotel in downtown Cairo.
