Newport World Resorts (NWR), an integrated resort complex in the Philippines, has entered a strategic partnership with Malaysian airline AirAsia on a points system.
Members of NWR’s Epic Rewards programme can now convert Epic Points into AirAsia points for travel and lifestyle rewards.
Using AirAsia’s online travel agent (OTA) app AirAsia MOVE, converted loyalty points can be used for purchasing flights and hotel stays.
Formerly known as Resorts World Manila and established in 2009, NWR’s complex features seven hotel brands: Belmont Hotel Manila, Hilton Hotel Manila, Holiday Inn Express, Hotel Okura Manila, Marriott Hotel Manila, Savoy Hotel Manila and Sheraton Manila Hotel. It also offers casinos, cinemas, a mall and a performing arts centre.
To encourage first-time converters, AirAsia MOVE and NWR are giving away 50% bonus loyalty points for all conversions made until 10 April 2024.
NWR chief marketing officer David Jorden commented: “This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to provide our patrons with extraordinary lifestyle experiences.”
