Phase I of Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, a $4.2bn integrated resort development along the beach of New Providence in the Bahamas, has opened.

The first phase opening includes Baha Mar Casino; Royal Blue Golf Club; The Baha Mar Convention, Art and Entertainment Center; Peter Burwash International tennis courts and facilities; and multiple restaurants, bars and lounges.

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar’s East and West Towers comprise 1,800 contemporary rooms including 230 one, two and three bedroom suites.

Each guest room provides contemporary décor, several lavish amenities, and outdoor balconies for guests to enjoy the ocean air and views of the beach, resort pools, fountain shows and Royal Blue Golf Club.

The Baha Mar Convention, Art and Entertainment Center is a 200,000ft2 indoor and outdoor convention facility, and connects directly to Baha Mar Casino, which is claimed to be the largest casino in the Caribbean.

The resort debuts five resort pools for guests, including Blue Hole, which is inspired by natural saltwater blue holes of the Bahamas.
