Greater China are set to open three additional Element branded properties from Starwood Hotels & Resorts over the next four years.
The 150-room Element Chongli hotel is perched in Sitaizui Village, a vibrant ski area surrounded by mountains, near to Zhangjiakou in Chongli County, Hebei Province. It is set to open in 2017.
Located in Haitang Bay District in the southern part of Hainan Island, Element Sanya Haitang Bay, set to open in 2018, offers a panoramic views of mountains. The 204-room property is close to major attractions.
Element Tianjin Beichen will be closer to the northern canal of the Hai River, with attractions such as the Tianjin Eye, a 120m Ferris wheel, the 336m Tianjin Tower, and a skyscraper with an observation deck. The 200-room hotel is set to open in 2019.
Element is the eco-sustainable brand of Starwood, which offers sustainable programming and nature-inspired room offerings such as low flow rainfall and showerheads, 100% no PVC flooring and energy efficient LED lighting.
The brand also provides electric-vehicle charging stations, filtered water, green materials such as low-VOC paints, recycled content carpeting and guest room designs that incorporate sustainable features.
