Philadelphia-based hospitality investment firm HHM has closed its acquisition of Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel and Executive Meeting Centre.
HHM said it is redesigning the hotel to upgrade the guest rooms and all public facilities, in collaboration with Sheraton brand team and outside designers.
The hotel has 405 rooms, 17,000ft² of updated meeting space, a 1,800ft² fitness facility, as well as multiple food and beverage outlets.
HHM highlighted that the custom-built meeting space offered is the only International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) certified meeting facility in South Florida.
Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel and Executive Meeting Center is very near to the Miami Airport, one of the busiest international passenger freight airports in the world.
The hotel also features direct pedestrian access to the airport and Miami Intermodal Center (MIC), which is connected to South Beach and Brickell.
