Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Haiti-based firm CAB to handle the operations of the new Hilton Garden Inn Port-au-Prince Louverture Airport hotel in the region.
Slated to open in 2016, the new Hilton Garden Inn branded property represents the company’s first hotel in Haiti and the debut of the Hilton Garden Inn brand in the Caribbean region.
Situated in the airport’s industrial park area, the property will be the only internationally branded hotel at the airport.
Hilton Garden Inn global brand head Adrian Kurre said, "We are excited the Hilton Garden Inn brand continues to grow around the world and we are looking forward to opening in Port-au-Prince."
Hilton Garden Inn Port-au-Prince Louverture Airport’s design will be based on the Hilton Garden Inn Latin America prototype.
The hotel will have 152 guest rooms including eight suites featuring comfortable bedding, LCD high-definition flat-screen television, alarm clock with MP3 connectivity, a work desk, as well as a hospitality centre with a mini refrigerator and coffee maker.

Dining options at the property will include a full service restaurant and lobby lounge serving cooked-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner, and an all-day Pavilion Pantry shop offering a menu of ready-made meals, beverages and snacks.
Other amenities at the property will include an outdoor swimming pool, as well as a complimentary fitness centre featuring cardio and strength training equipment by Precor.
The new property will also have meeting space with a pre-function area, three flexible meeting rooms and one boardroom as well as signature Hilton Garden Inn brand facilities such as complimentary Wi-Fi and a 24hr business centre.
Currently, Hilton Worldwide operates a portfolio of 15 hotels and resorts across the Caribbean islands.
