InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has expanded its presence in Vietnam with the launch of a new hotel, InterContinental Nha Trang, in the coastal city of Nha Trang.
The 279-room hotel includes 56 luxuriously furnished suites and offers views of the coastline and waters of the Nha Trang Bay.
The new hotel, which is situated at a 40-minute drive from Cam Ranh International Airport, is surrounded by a number of shopping and entertainment options and close to attractions such as the Thap Ba Hot Spring and Nha Phu Lagoon.
InterContinental Nha Trang general manager Colin McCandless said the hotel is situated along one of the most stunning coastlines in Vietnam.
"From its fantastic location offering the view of the pristine Nha Trang bay to the world-class facilities in the hotel, InterContinental Nha Trang has been designed to provide contemporary luxury experiences for both leisure and business travellers when they stay, dine or hold an event with us," McCandless added.
The hotel includes Cookbook Café restaurant, which offers live interactive cooking stations serving seafood, chargrilled meats and Vietnamese specialities; a poolside bar, Aqualine, offering light bites; and a lobby bar serving signature drinks.

By GlobalDataInterContinental Nha Trang has three outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre and a Spa InterContinental equipped with a couple suite, sauna and jacuzzi.
Additional amenities at the property include a pillar-less ballroom and meeting facilities with technology to deliver corporate or social events such as conferences, business meetings, parties and weddings.
IHG South East Asia and Resorts chief operating officer Clarence Tan said that InterContinental Nha Trang joins a repertoire of three other InterContinental properties in Vietnam.
"We have high expectations for this new property and are confident that all our guests will enjoy an authentic local experience at the hotel," Tan added.
IHG operates six hotels in Vietnam at present under the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts and Crowne Plaza brands, and has seven properties in the development pipeline.
