Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) is expanding its footprint in Quebec, Canada, with the signing of a Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites property in Tremblant.

Slated to open in early 2015 and following a $3.2m investment by the ownership, the property will be located in the Tremblant pedestrian village, conveniently accessible to ski lifts, restaurants and shops.

The four-storey, 141-room hotel will feature a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, outdoor whirlpool bath, fitness room, sauna and complimentary high-speed Internet access. The hotel will also offer a complimentary Express Start breakfast bar.

IHG currently has 14 hotels in Quebec province, with two more in the pipeline.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tremblant is managed by Intrawest and franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
