Placid View Properties’ Ole Sereni Hotel will receive a financial boost of KES1.9bn ($21m) from Kenya Commercial Bank Group (KCB) for its second phase expansion.
The parties signed an agreement, which will see the bank completely finance the expansion of the facility that overlooks Nairobi National Park.
As part of the expansion, the hotel will offer an African and modern deco blend with fine finishes and a new design at its new Grand Hall, which can accommodate up to 800 people or entertain more than 1,000 guests.
The expansion will also include an additional 154 rooms, which will be a mix of guest rooms and service apartments.
The Grand Hall will have an ‘all day dining’ restaurant, as well as an ethnic restaurant, which will provide middle-eastern cuisine.
