Marriott International‘s brand Autograph Collection Hotels has opened a new 391-room Sortis Hotel, Spa and Casino in Panama City, Panama, which is also the brand’s second property in Central America.
Marriott International Mexico and Central America vice-president Kevin Schwab said: "Panama remains one of the most vibrant countries for new development in all of Latin America.
"We are thrilled to reveal our first addition to Autograph Collection Hotels in Central America. This beautiful hotel brings the highest levels of accommodations and service to Panama and is a great addition to the Collection’s growing global portfolio."
Owned and operated by Hartin Trading, the new property features a private shopping area with 30 stores at the mezzanine floor and exclusive gastronomy venues and a play centre.
It will also include a 38,000ft² luxurious spa, offering a full menu of facials, body treatments and a full service salon.
In addition, the new property offers ten dining options from Manabi restaurant and rum bar, serving Panamanian and Asian favourites.
