Marriott International, in partnership with the Amdec Group, has announced plans for the construction of three new hotel properties in Cape Town, South Africa.
The first project among the three will be under the company's signature brand, Marriott Hotels. This will be the first Marriott Hotel in Cape Town.
The second property will be under the upscale extended stay brand – Residence Inn by Marriott. The final property will be an upper-moderate tier lifestyle brand – AC Hotels by Marriott.
These three properties will add more than 500 rooms in Cape Town’s cumulative hotel accommodation offering.
Marriot’s partnership with Amdec Group started in 2015 when they announced the development of the first two properties in South Africa.
These two hotels located in Johannesburg are scheduled to open in 2018.
