US-based hotel management and services company Marshall Hotels & Resorts has won five property management contracts.
The hotels are the 142-room Radisson Hotel Cleveland-Gateway in Ohio; the 80-room Holiday Inn Express Braselton, the 139-room Hampton Inn Atlanta/Marietta and the 66-room Hampton Inn Cartersville, both in Georgia; and the 113-room Hampton Inn & Suites under construction in Ocean City, Maryland.
Marshall Hotels & Resorts president and CEO Mike Marshall said that the majority of investors and owners held back from making changes at the property level during the summer months to determine the effects of the economy on business and leisure travel.
"Now it appears that owners and investors are tired of waiting for the economy to dictate what changes they make at their hotels," he said. "Money has become more readily available for decision-makers to move forward with previously postponed changes."
Holiday Inn Express Braselton features a complimentary hot breakfast service and high-speed wireless internet access, while Hampton Inn Atlanta/Marietta offers a fitness centre and the Clean and Fresh Hampton Bed.
Both hotels have swimming pools and business centres.
