Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide’s Sheraton brand will launch five new hotels in China by the end of 2011.
Three properties will open in Hangzhou, Xian and Daqing, and two will be located in Changzhou.
The brand launched seven hotels and resorts in the region earlier this year in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Zhenjiang, Hainan and Jinzhou.
The 12 new properties bring Sheraton’s portfolio to 46 hotels in Greater China; Starwood aims to operate 100 hotels in the country by the end of 2012.
