Minor Hotels, in partnership with China-based Funyard Hotels & Resorts, has revealed the opening of the first NH-branded property in China.
In 2021, Minor Hotels announced a strategic partnership with Funyard Hotels & Resorts to jointly develop and operate upscale hospitality projects in China.
The 140-room NH Zhengzhou Jinshui is located in Zhengzhou, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
It has meeting space for both corporate and social events, accommodating up to 200 guests.
The hotel’s top floor includes an all-day dining restaurant serving Cantonese, Hangzhou, Hunan, and Western dishes.
Other amenities at the property include a 24-hour fitness centre, a self-service laundry area, a lobby bar, parking spaces, and more.

The hotel’s location provides guests access to nearby locations such as Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Zhongyuan International Expo Centre.
This opening comes after the brand opened its first property in Asia called NH Boat Lagoon in Phuket, Thailand.
Earlier this month, Minor Hotels announced plans to foray into Paris, France, with plans to add three four-star hotels in the first quarter of 2024.
Currently, Minor Hotels operates 540 hotels under diverse brands across 56 countries.
