Hotel Okura Co’s subsidiary Okura Nikko Hotel Management has revealed plans to open a new hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
Located in the Sathorn district of Thailand’s capital, Grand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn is slated to open in 2025.

By GlobalDataGrand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn will be conveniently located on the main Sathorn Road thoroughfare and will be a 40-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and five-minute walk from Chong Nonsi Skytrain station.
Okura Nikko Hotel Management president Toshihiro Ogita said: “We are honoured to participate in such a socially significant project.
“Leveraging the hotel’s accessibility for the general public, we will strive to provide high quality services rooted in the Japanese spirit of hospitality, and to further enhance recognition of our brand in Thailand.”
The property boasts 405 rooms, including 369 regular guest rooms each approximately 40m2 in size, and 36 long-stay rooms.
Dining venues at the hotel include an all-day dining facility, Japanese restaurant, teppanyaki restaurant catering general Japanese cuisine and a rooftop bar on the 34th floor.
Other guest amenities include an executive lounge, a fitness centre, a spa, and an outdoor pool, as well as two banquet halls and six meeting rooms.
Grand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn will be managed by Bangkok Sathorn Hotel Management in partnership with the Hotel Okura Group.
Bangkok Sathorn Hotel Management is jointly owned by Nishimatsu Construction, Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development, and Fuyo General Lease.
The property marks Okura Nikko Hotels’ fifth hotel in Thailand, and the first Grand Nikko-branded hotel in the country.
